Location: St. Paul RiverCentre

The Annual Meeting will again include many opportunities to network with other industry leaders. These opportunities include participating in a service project, donating to the silent auction to support the GWS program and their mission to provide clean water for all, learning what others are doing to support their workforce within their organizations, getting to know our emerging leaders better, learning about a new pro-cess or product, acting as a mentor, gaining a mentor...there are endless opportunities throughout the three day event for action. The ultimate opportunity is networking. One conversation can spark an idea that could have tremendous impacts. The Technical Program Committee received over 130 abstracts and the best of the best were chosen to be part of the program. There will also be other tracks focusing on Ethics, Resource Recovery, Stormwater and an Operators Training track.
The meeting is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 19th and will continue through Thursday, May 21st. There will be two conference hotels: the historic Saint Paul Hotel or the Hampton Inn & Suites – Downtown St. Paul. Both are within a block of the Saint Paul RiverCentre and located near many great restaurants, the Science Museum, beautiful parks, the Mississippi River and so much more. We received great rates for both locations. Be sure to book early.
Be sure to check out the details within this Registration Brochure for all the fun and exciting opportunities to pick from. On Tuesday, there will be a tour of the Seneca Water Resource Recovery Facility, a service project in the St Paul area that includes stenciling of storm drains, a Stormwater tour in the Woodbury and Oakdale area, and so much more. The Meet & Greet/Social event will be held outdoors, weather permitting, at RiverCentre’s outdoor pavilion area. There will be a plan B location within RiverCentre if the weather decides not to cooperate with us.
Wednesday and Thursday will be filled with the opportunity to attend the high-quality technical program and explore the exhibitor hall. There will be a keynote address by Racquel Vaske, General Manager of Saint Paul Regional Water Services (SPRWS) on Wednesday morning at 8am. Racquel focuses on employee engagement and development while also working to collaborate with communities and others in the water industry. This approach of strengthening the water workforce is applied in management of a utility that supplies, treats, and distributes high-quality drinking water to over 450,000 customers across 14 cities.
The Awards Banquet will be held on Wednesday evening at the Landmark Center, approximately 1 block away from the RiverCentre. Join us as we recognize the amazing organizations and individuals who go above and beyond in our industry. Be sure to come for the pre- and post- reception. Last year we had record breaking attendance at the Banquet event, and we are hoping to see even more at this year’s event.
The LAC are so excited to bring you an incredible event that you will not want to miss! A special thank you to our LAC Chair, Quentin Hahn, the technical program committee, and the rest of the committee for their endless amount of work they have put into making this event a success.
