Central States Water Environment Association
The Central States Water Environment Association (CSWEA) is proud to announce our support for the 2026 National Water Policy Fly-In in Washington, D.C, April 14-15, 2026. This event is the cornerstone of Water Week, and is the premier gathering of water professionals, utility leaders, and advocates engaging directly with policymakers on Capitol Hill.

Applications for Section Delegate(s) to attend the WEF Fly-In in Washington DC will be received through February 22, 2026.

The Section Delegate(s) for the WEF Fly-In will be selected from eligible applicants. Eligible applicants include current and past Section committee chairs and Section officers or sponsorship by a current committee chair or officer and a minimum of 5 years of membership of CSWEA.

Selected delegate(s) are responsible for making arrangements with state congressional members while in Washington DC and reporting back to their Section. Delegates are responsible for all time and travel arrangements. Financial assistance (up to $2000) for travel expenditures will be provided by state sections. Amount will vary and is determined by each respective State Section.

Sponsorship Opportunity
The Wisconsin section will sponsor up to two members to attend the 2026 Fly-In. Sponsorship includes registration and travel support. We invite nominations and applications from members who are passionate about water policy, advocacy, and representing CSWEA’s voice in Washington.

Additional Scholarship for Young Professionals
The Water Environment Federation (WEF) also offers a Young Professional Scholarship to attend the Fly-In. This is a fantastic opportunity for emerging leaders to gain experience in national advocacy.  The application will be available in late December or early January.  A link will be provided when available.
